Aadi Story
Day-1

All the stories were painfully collected by visiting a library, refering manuscripts, discussing with learned Guru, typing in a mobile phone and circulated in WhatsApp groups
Kanchi Kamakshi, the one with eyes that evoke desire, or the one with exceedingly beautiful eyes, reigns supreme at the Sri Kanchi Kamakshi Amman temple at Kanchipuram. Of the 2 Kamakshi temples here, the old one called the Adi Peeteshwari temple, is the one where Sri Adi Sankara installed the supremely powerful Sri Chakra. This place became famous as the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.
Sri Kamakshi worshipped Lord Shiva in the form of a lingam made out of sand that she created under a mango tree and won His hand in marriage. Shiva is known as Ekambareshwara here (the Lord under a mango tree). This mango tree still exists in the temple compound and is believed to yield four different kinds of mangoes.
