Aadi Story
Day-28

Shri Saptashringi Devi resides in the Saptashringi hills in Vani village of Nashik district in Maharashtra. Saptashringi means 'seven peaks'. This is regarded as a Shakti Peetha where Devi Sati's right arm is believed to have fallen. The only ancient text that accords the Shakti Peetha status to Saptashringi is the Devi Bhagavata Puranam. Devi here appears in a majestic, awe-inspiring 8 feet tall, 18-armed form. This is a rock cut temple, where Devi is said to be 'Swayambhu' or 'self manifested'. May Maa Saptashringi bless us all.
